Red Lodge is located about 2 - 3 hours from Yellowstone National Park via the Beartooth Highway or the Chief Joseph Highway, making a trip to the park a wonderful day trip or simple overnight visit. Enter by the northeast entrance and go explore the wonders of the hot springs, Old Faithful, and the many other wonderful experiences that Yellowstone has to offer. The park is both huge and hugely interesting.  From the South Entrance, it is but a few miles to Grand Teton National Park, with some of the best hiking and serious climbing in the Rockies, magnificent views and excellent accommodations.  (We recommend Spring Creek Ranch, whose operators have close ties to The Pollard!)
